Burris Speed Dot 135 Scope Specs

Burris Speed Dot 135 scopes are red-dot scopes designed for quick and accurate target acquisition. The Speed Dot 135 scope provides no magnification, but features a bright LED light that is visible when you're looking through the scope. The red dot has the appearance of a laser beam and gives you a distinctive aiming reference.
  1. Power and Light Intensity

    • The Speed Dot 135 scope is powered by a singleË2 lithium battery. The battery provides approximately 200 hours of use and is housed in the light intensity dial turret on the top of the scope. The light intensity dial is numbered 0 through 11; zero is the default off setting and the intensity of the LED light increases with the ascending numbers.

    Usability

    • The Speed Dot 135 scope has a long, high eye relief, making it usable on rifles, shotguns and handguns. Eye relief is the required distance between the scope and your eye for a clear sight picture. Since the scope has no magnification qualities, the eye relief is not a factor. This gives the scope a great degree of versatility.

    Mounting

    • The Speed Dot 135 scope comes preinstalled with Weaver-style scope rings. These scope rings are compatible with Weaver and picatinny tactical scope mounts. Tactical scope mounts are common on most military-style rifles and handguns.

    Dot Adjustment

    • The point of aim is adjustable with the windage and elevation knobs located on the top and right-hand side of the scope body. The windage is adjusted by rotating the dial on the side of the scope clockwise for right or counterclockwise for left. Elevation is adjusted by rotating the top dial counterclockwise to move the dot up or clockwise for down.
