Clean off the surfaces of the end of your barrel and the boresighter, and attach the boresighter to the end of the barrel with the magnet. Use the boresighter adjustable slide to center the boresighter grid pattern with the height of the scope. The grid pattern should be visible and centered when observed through the scope.
Adjust the scope magnification to give you the optimal picture of the grid pattern. The contrast of the grid pattern can be adjusted with the backlight illumination.
Adjust the scope's reticles to intersect on the center of the boresighter grid pattern. Use the scope reticle adjustment dials located on the top and right-hand side of the scope. When the reticles are adjusted, remove the boresighter.
Prepare a target at approximately 100 yards and load your rifle with a single bullet. aim carefully at your target and fire. Make sure your rifle is unloaded and reattach the boresighter.
Aim your rifle at your target and record the bullet hole's exact location as seen on the boresighter grid pattern. Readjust your reticles to that grid location and remove your boresighter.
