How to Make a Glock

Making a Glock pistol requires you to gather together all of the parts for the particular model you're trying to construct and putting them together. Glock parts are standardized among models, which makes it possible for you to purchase all the parts separately. The only part that is technically considered a firearm is the lower receiver or grip; this part must be procured through a federally licensed gun dealer or through a legally sanctioned private purchase.

Things You'll Need

Instructions

    • 1

Hold the slide upside down and place the barrel into position; the barrel will seat when properly positioned.

    • 2

Slide the recoil spring over the end of the recoil guide. Place the end of the spring into the round hole that is cut on the inside of the slide, compress the spring and place the edge of the recoil spring guide on the step located on the barrel.

    • 3

Line up the grooves of the slide assembly with the rails on the grip. Pull down on the slide lock tabs, located on both sides of the pistol just above the trigger and slide the slide assembly all the way back on the grip. Insert the magazine.
