Things You'll Need
Instructions
Examine the scope to see if it is meant to mount on the carry handle or the mounting rail. This information will be included in the packaging.
Unscrew the mounting screws. On a carry-handle mounted scope, this will usually be a single screw on the bottom of the mount. On a rail mount, these will usually by two small screws on the bottom of the scope mount. Some rail mounts will feature a quick release, which is a small steel handle in place of screws. This needs to be pushed open (facing toward the barrel) for the mount to be set onto the rail.
Place the scope mount on the rifle. For a handle mount, there is a small screw hole on top of the handle; line up the screw hole on the mount with this, and twist the screw back into place. For a rail mount, the scope mount will snap into place; tighten the mounting screws with your fingers or the tool provided. For quick release, simply pull the quick release handle back toward the butt of the gun.
Open the two rings on top of the mount. This is where the scope attaches to the mount. The rings will either be quick release, or they will need to be unscrewed using the tool provided.
Place the scope inside the rings, and tighten the rings back up.
