How to Use the Red Dot Scope

Red-Dot scopes are intended to help you quickly find and aim at your target; the scope indicates your bullet's projected point of impact with an adjustable, red LED light. The light is only visible when you're looking through the scope. The scope is powered by a lithium battery installed on top of the LCD brightness dial. The scopes do not provide magnification, and therefore have no minimum eye-relief distance. The scopes are acceptable for rifles or handguns.

Instructions

    • 1

Turn on your scope by rotating the brightness-adjustment dial to any position apart from "0." Red-dot scopes have brightness settings from 0 to 11. The brightness of the red dot increases as you turn the numbers in ascending order.

    • 2

Look through the scope, and aim your weapon at the target. The red light appears centered in your sight picture, aligned with your target. The LED light is similar in appearance to a red laser beam.

    • 3

Turn off your scope by turning the brightness dial to "0." Failing to turn off your Red-Dot scope will cause the battery to lose power and die.
