Things You'll Need
Instructions
Examine your air rifle for any scratches that you wish to paint over. Lightly sand down these spots with 600 grit sandpaper. Clean off the surfaces of your rifle.
Suspend your air rifle with fishing line, so that it is hanging from the ceiling. This allows you full access to all the surfaces.
Prepare a mixture of approximately 10 to 14 parts paint to 1 part hardener in the airbrush container. Use your syringe to add the appropriate amounts of hardener.
Paint the pattern onto your rifle with the airbrush. If you will be using a second color, remove and clean the container from the airbrush, mix your next color and continue to paint.
Let the finish dry for at least 12 hours. Your air rifle is ready for use, but the complete curing time of the paint is approximately 30 days. During this time try to avoid allowing any surface to contact the paint.
