How to Mount an ITT Monocular on a Weapon

The ITT Monocular is a mountable night-vision aid that is used by members of the U.S. military as well as civilian gun enthusiasts. There are several models, but they all feature a similar design. This instrument can be carried, or mounted on a helmet or weapon. The monocular comes with a head mount included, but to mount one on a weapon, a separate weapon mount needs to be purchased. The G&G QD Multi-Flex High Mount is designed specifically for the ITT Monocular.

Instructions

    • 1

Place the mounting bracket included with the G&G QD on the MIL-STD-1913 dovetails, behind the scope if there is one present.

    • 2

Screw in the bolt on the right-hand side of the G&G QD with your fingers. Tighten it with the included tightening tool.

    • 3

Flip the locking mechanism on the left-hand side of the G&G QD forward so that the mount is open and unlocked.

    • 4

Place the mounting ring on the monocular. This goes on the front, behind the lens. The ring should be at an angle, with the tightening screw near but not in the way of the monocular's battery casing. Tighten the screw with the tightening tool.

    • 5

Place the monocular on the mount. Opposite the tightening screws on the mounting ring is a connector that fits inside the open space on the mount.

    • 6

Flip the lock on the mount back so that it is facing the butt of the gun.
