Glock 27 Instructions

The Glock model 27 is a sub-compact pistol and is chambered to use .40 caliber ammunition. The Glock 27 is lightweight, reliable and concealable. The Glock has no external safety but does feature a series of three internal safeties that keep the weapon un-cocked until you intentinally pull the trigger. The Glock is a "double action" only pistol, meaning that the trigger pull required is consistent and generally heavier than other pistols. From a safety standpoint this is an advantage, since it reduces the chance of a accidentally pulling the trigger.

Instructions

    • 1

Remove the magazine and load it with .40 caliber bullets. The bullets feed into the magazine by placing the rear of the bullet casing near the front of the magazine, pressing down until the bullet clears the lips at the rear of the magazine and sliding the bullet back. The maximum capacity for a standard Glock 27 magazine is 10 rounds.

    • 2

Insert the magazine into the bottom of the grip and press until the magazine locks into position. Point the pistol in a safe direction, pull the slide completely back and release. As the slide moves back to the forward position it will feed a bullet into the chamber. Your pistol is now loaded.

    • 3

Aim your pistol at a target by aligning the front and rear sight with your target. Place your finger on the trigger and squeeze until the weapon fires. You may continue firing until the magazine is empty.

    • 4

Press the magazine release button on the left side of the pistol adjacent to the trigger and remove the empty magazine. After firing the last round, the slide should be locked in the rear position.

    • 5

Place a fresh magazine into the pistol and press the slide release button located on the left hand side of the weapon along the slide. The slide will snap forward, loading a fresh round. Continue firing. When you have finished firing, check to make sure that your Glock 27 is unloaded.
