Adjusting the Remington Xmark Pro Trigger

The X-Mark Pro is an adjustable trigger system available on the Remington model 700 line of rifles. The system allows you to adjust the amount of pressure necessary to pull trigger to adapt to your situation. For example, if you're engaging in long-distance precision target shooting you may find that a light trigger pull is preferable, whereas while carrying your rifle in the field you may decide that a heavier trigger pull is preferable. The X-Mark Pro trigger allows you to quickly fine-tune your rifle.

     Open the rifle's bolt and make absolutely certain the rifle is unloaded. Locate the small set-screw on the inside surface of the trigger and insert the provided hex key into the screw.

     Increase the amount of required trigger pull by turning the set-screw counterclockwise. Decrease the required trigger pull by turning the screw clockwise.

     Remove the hex key and test the trigger by dry-firing the rifle. Make additional adjustments as necessary.
