Installation
The Kel-Tec lanyard is installed by removing the rear frame pin from the gun and replacing it with the lanyard pin and loop attachment. The lanyard clips onto the loop attachment.
Function
The lanyard suspends the gun around your neck. The gun will hang with the barrel pointing downward. You could also place the gun in a shirt or coat pocket, or you could attach the lanyard to a backpack or hang it on a coat rack instead of around your neck.
Features
The lanyard kit contains the rear pin replacement, which comes as two pieces that join halfway through the pin hole. It also contains the loop attachment that is inserted around the ends of the pin. The lanyard itself is a cord with a plastic carabiner-type latch on the end. The kit also comes with a hex tool for attaching the pin replacement.
Considerations
The lanyard is useful for deep concealment of the Kel-Tec pistol, but wearing the pistol under a shirt of jacket against the chest makes it difficult to access your weapon when you are presented with a threat.
