Things You'll Need
Instructions
Check the rifle's action and make sure the weapon is unloaded.
Remove the trigger and magazine by unscrewing the retention screws from the top of the stock and from the trigger assembly. With the screws removed, you can lift out the trigger and magazine.
Remove the stock bands from the front of the rifle by turning the band screws to the right (which is backward compared to most screws) to loosen them. When the bands are loosened, slip them off the front of the rifle. The barrel and bolt assembly will lift out of the stock.
Place the barrel onto the new stock and place the trigger and magazine assembly into position. Use the retention screws to secure the parts to the new stock.
