Instructions
Quickdraw Magnets
Purchase two Quickdraw Magnets. One is sufficient to hold almost any handgun, but the gun may spin around and be out-of-place when only one magnet is holding it. Two magnets hold both the grip and barrel in place.
Punch holes into the car material matching where the grommets are on the magnets, and secure using the fasteners that come with the magnets.
Place the handgun on the magnets without a holster. Adjust the seating until it is most comfortable for you to retrieve the gun.
Blackhawk Serpa
Purchase a Blackhawk Serpa holster and quick-detach mount set.
Snap the male mount to the back of the holster and put the holster on the female mount on your belt. The other female mount attaches to the interior of the pickup truck by punching matching holes and using the available fasteners.
Slide the holster off the mount on your belt and snap it onto the pickup mount. Adjust so that it is easily available. When exiting the truck, slide the holster back off the pickup mount and place it back onto the mount on your belt.
Velcro
Purchase several extra-heavy duty Velcro straps.
Secure one end of a strap to the area where you are mounting the handgun.
Place the handgun against the work area and draw the strap tightly around it. Mark the area where the strap comes to a rest on the other side of the firearm.
Glue the matching, sticky side of the Velcro where it is needed to hold the strap securely around the firearm. A large firearm may need two straps.
