Front Sight Removal
Remove the existing front sight--if required--by placing the slide top down on the workspace (table or workbench) so the front sight can move down unobstructed. Place a pin punch on the front sight retaining pin and lightly tap with a small hammer, removing the pin.
Front Sight Installation
Turn the slide over and insert the retaining pin, located on the bottom of the new front sight, into the top of the slide. Press until the sight is level with the surface of the slide. Turn the slide over again and place on a surface that will prevent the front sight from moving. Use pliers to place a fixing pin into the underside of the front sight base and lightly tap it in with your pin punch.
Rear Sight Removal
Adjust the sight carrier--the device that specifically moves the rear sight that's manipulated by the drive screw--of your Glock sight adjustment tool so that it's positioned over the slot that will hold the slide. Place the slide into the slot so the existing rear sight is within the tool's sight carrier. Turn the drive screw so the rear sight is pushed left, but continue until the sight clears the slide.
Rear Sight Installation
Remove the existing sight from your sight adjustment tool and replace it with your new one. Turn the drive screw so the new rear sight is pushed into position and remove the slide from the tool.
