How to Install a Remington 7600 Heat Guard

The Remington model 7600 is a pump action, magazine fed rifle. The rifle is based on the design of the model 870 shotguns and is available with either wooden or synthetic stocks. Placing a heat shield on your rifle is a quick process; however you will lose the use of your rifle's open sights. Fortunately, the rifle's upper receiver is pre drilled and tapped to accept scope mounts, allowing you to replace the open sights with optical ones.
