XSE Series
The XSE series pistol is available in Lightweight Commander, Commander and Government versions. This series features rear and front serrations with lightweight aluminum triggers and extended ambidextrous thumb safeties. Pistols in this series have an enhanced hammer, fixed sights, single action, and checkered, double-diamond rosewood grips. There are seven available models in the XSE series that have varying barrel lengths, frame finishes, frame materials, grip safeties, grips, overall length, calibers and thumb safeties. Pistols in this series are either .45 caliber or .38 caliber.
Double Action Only Series
The Double Action Only series is available in two models. They both feature matte-blue aluminum finishes, blue frame finishes, double-diamond and slim fit walnut grips. Model 07810DA has a trench-style sight and a three-inch barrel. Model 01991DA has fixed sights and a five-inch barrel.
Defender Series
The Colt Defender Series pistols are lightweight carry models that possess the performance and power of full-sized pistols. Defender series pistols can withstand frequent practice sessions and everyday wear. Available in four different models, they feature an overall length of 6-3/4 inches. They have three-inch barrels, beveled magazine wells, series 80 firing systems, black skeleton aluminum triggers, beavertail grip safety and standard thumb safety. The four models vary in frame material, frame finish sights, grips, capacity and caliber. They are available in .45 ACP and 9mm.
Gold Cup Series
Known as the finest shooting automatic in the world, the Gold Cup pistol is the standard for competition guns. Available in two .45 ACP models, the Gold Cup pistols feature full length target and recoil springs, beavertail grip safety, adjustable rear sight, beveled magazine well, black wrap-around grips and a wide aluminum 3-hole trigger, which is adjustable. The two models are identical except for the finish and frame material. The 05070X model features stainless steel finish and frame material. The 05870CS model features a blued frame finish with carbon steel frame material.
Special Combat Government Series
Pistols in the Special Combat Government series are competition-ready, .45 ACP. They feature extended ambidextrous thumb safety, five-inch barrel length, steel checkered mainspring housing with extended magazine well, S&A grip safety, a 3-hole aluminum trigger, throated barrel, custom tuned action, flared ejection port, enhanced hammer, polished feed ramp, two 8-round magazines with bumpers and S&A magazine guide. There are five pistols in this series with varying calibers, frame finishes, front sights and rear sights. Available calibers are .45 ACP and .38 Super.
Series 70
There are two series 70 pistols, which are replicas of the .45 ACP government models. They feature the original series 70 firing system, original rollmarks, service style grip safety, spur hammer, standard thumb safety, short steel trigger, 8-1/2 inch overall length, fixed sights, five-inch barrel, arched main spring housing and are available in blue or stainless finish.
1991 Series
The 1991 series has four models. They feature an aluminum trigger; standard thumb safety and white-dot front and rear sights. These models are available in varying frame materials and finishes, barrel lengths, overall lengths, hammer types, grips and grip safety types.
