How to Convert a Glock 50 Caliber

Shooters who have been looking for a pistol chambered in the large .50 caliber, combined with the operation and reliability of a GLOCK, can now have the best of both worlds with the .50-caliber conversion kit from Guncrafter Industries. The conversion kit consists of a complete slide assembly produced in a stainless steel finish, a .50-caliber match grade barrel, recoil-spring assembly, and a nine-round magazine. The kit is compatible with the lower receiver from a GLOCK model 21 or a GLOCK model 20 pistol.

Instructions

    • 1

Remove the magazine from your GLOCK 21 or 20 model pistol and check the pistol's chamber to make sure that it is not loaded.

    • 2

Pull the slide-locks located on both sides of the low receiver -- directly over the trigger -- down with one hand, and hold the top of the pistol with the other hand.

    • 3

Push the slide assembly backward approximately 1/10 inch and immediately push it forward. The slide assembly will separate from the lower receiver.

    • 4

Place the rails of the lower receiver into the slots of the .50 caliber slide assembly and slide the assembly onto the receiver. The slide will lock into place.

    • 5

Insert the .50 caliber magazine into the pistol. Your conversion is complete.
