Put on safety shooting glasses and ear protection.
Check to make sure the firearm is unloaded before adjusting the YHM front-flip sight tower.
Loosen the four mounting screws on either side of the YHM front-flip sight tower with a wrench. The sight tower should be loose enough to move but tight enough to stay secure during firing. Make sure to loosen the mounting screws evenly so the gap between the top and bottom parts of the sight tower is even on both sides.
Loosen the screw at the side of the flip-front portion of the sight tower and flip the sight tower up to its upright position. Secure it in place by tightening the screw at its side.
Twist the the sight tower to the left or right so that the sight at the muzzle end of the firearm is aligned with the sight at the opposite end of the firearm.
Place the firearm in a gun rest and secure it in place.
Load the firearm.
Look down the sight as you would during normal firing and fire the weapon at a target. Make sure you use a safe, legal firing range for the adjustment process.
Check the target to determine if the gun is hitting the target as sighted through the sight tower.
Slide the sight tower to the left or right in small movements. fire the weapon and check the accuracy until the firarm is hitting the target where it was sighted through the sight tower.
Tighten the four mounting screws evenly with a wrench.
Fire the weapon and check the target to determine if the final setting is accurate.
Loosen the screw at the side of the sight tower by hand. Flip the front-flip sight tower to its horizontal position. Secure it in place by tightening the screw at its side by hand.
Unload all ammunition from the firearm.
