Changing the Front Sight
Make sure that your pistol is unloaded. Disassemble your G20.
Put the slide upside down on your work space, giving the front sight an unobstructed space in which to move. Find the sight retaining pin on the inside of the slide and lightly tap it out with your pin punch and small hammer. After you have removed the front sight, turn over the slide.
Insert the pin protruding from the bottom of your new sight into the hole at the top of the slide and press it down until it is level with the slide's surface.
Flip the slide over and put the front sight on a surface that will keep it from moving, such as wood or plastic. With your pliers, place the fixing pin (the small pin that secures the front sight) into the sight retaining hole and lightly tap it in with your pin punch.
Changing the Rear Sight
Position the sight carrier of your sight adjustment tool directly over the spot which holds the slide. Put the end of your slide into the tool with the rear sight in the sight carrier. Rotate the drive screw so it moves the sight left; keep turning until the sight has cleared the slide. Remove the old sight and put the new one in position and tighten the sight carrier's downward-pressure screw to hold the sight in position on the guide rail.
Rotate the drive screw to slide the new sight into position. Loosen the sight carrier downward-pressure screw and remove the slide from the tool.
Reassemble your G20 pistol.
