Who Makes Holsters for the Ruger SP101?

The Ruger SP101 is a lightweight, double-action revolver. It comes in a stainless steel finish with black rubber grips and a 2.25-inch barrel. The five-round gun is carried whenever a serious caliber is possibly needed, but weight and size is a consideration.

Brand Names
- Holsters for the SP101 come in a variety of styles and shapes. Galco, Bianchi, and Fobus are well-known holster makers who design carriers specifically for this firearm.
Styles
- Bianchi is a traditional leather holster that snaps onto a duty belt and is carried outside the waist. Fobus takes a different approach with their plastic paddle holster which slips between the belt and the waist, making it easy to remove. Galco has a tote-style purse/holster for the SP101 that is fashionable.
Alternatives
- A number of holster manufacturers make generic holsters that fit the SP101, along with almost any other lightweight revolver such as the Taurus, Smith &Wesson, and Colt. These are often less expensive than a holster designed for a specific handgun.
