How to Mount a Nightforce One-Piece Scope Base

Nightforce one-piece scope mounts are suitable for wide a variety of rifles such as Remington, Winchester and Savage. The mounts provide a dovetail base, which allows you to quickly attach a scope equipped with compatible scope rings -- most tactical scopes come equipped with them. The Nightforce mount also allows you to mount lasers, flashlights or any other accessories compatible with dovetail mounts. Adding a Nightforce mount to your rifle greatly increases its versatility.

  Clean the surface of the rifle and the inside of the Night Force scope mount. This is to ensure that no dirt gets between the mount and rifle.

  Remove the plug screws from the upper receiver of the rifle. They are located where the scope will be placed. There should be four screws, two in front of and two behind the ejection port. Remove them with a small, flat-head screwdriver.

  Position your Night Force scope mount on the top of your rifle and screw in the screws supplied with the mount.
