Models
The .45 Colt is available in five models: the carbine, short rifle, trapper rifle, special sporting and half octagonal.
Appearance
All of these rifles are made with A-grade walnut wood. The trapper and carbine are made with a blue-steel frame and buttplate, as well as a case-hardened lever. All other models have a case-hardened frame, buttplate and lever. The gun barrel is round on nearly all these rifles, but it is octagonal on the carbine. The special sporting model has a checkered pistol-grip stock and fore-end.
