Instructions
Disassemble your weapon--as suggested by the manufacturer--for cleaning.
Apply gun cleaning solution to a clean rag and wipe off the carbon buildup from all exposed gun surfaces.
Assemble your cleaning rod as applicable for your weapon's barrel length--a rifle may use all three sections as opposed to a pistol, which may only require one--and attach the appropriate brass brush. Apply gun cleaning solution to your brass brush and scrub the inside of the barrel.
Replace the brass brush with a slotted tip and pass a clean patch through the barrel; continue to do this until the patches come out clean.
Apply gun oil to all metallic surfaces of your weapon and reassemble. Wooden surfaces may be treated with regular furniture polish.
