How to Operate a Weaver K6 60-C Scope for a Rifle

The Weaver K6 60-C is a fixed power scope, commonly mounted on .22LR rim-fire rifles. The scope is a preset at a six-power magnification and has an objective lens of 38mm. K series scopes were some of the least expensive produced by Weaver and have the fewest moving parts of all Weaver models. The Scope features standard cross-hairs and multicoated lenses--meaning that each lens surface has at least one protective coating. The scope is durably constructed to be shockproof and waterproof

Instructions

    • 1

Aim your rifle at your target, by centering your target where the Scopes cross hairs intersect. The intersection of the cross hairs is your projected point-of-impact, where the bullet should strike the target. If your scope is not aligned to the point-of-impact, then you must zero in your scope.

    • 2

Zero in your scope by adjusting the windage and elevation dials located on the top and right side of the scope. Move the scope cross hairs down by rotating the top dial clockwise, or counter-clockwise to move them up. Move the cross hairs right by turning the side dial counter-clockwise, or clockwise to move them left.

    • 3

Clean your scope by wiping off any moisture that may have formed on your scope and using glass cleaner to clean the lenses.
