How do I Upgrade the Sights of the U22 Neos 22 Pistol?

The U22 Neos is a target pistol form Beretta, chambered in the popular .22LR rimfire cartridge. The U22 pistol gives shooters the opportunity to practice target shooting inexpensively, since rimfire ammunition costs a fraction of centerfire ammunition. The pistol comes equipped with adjustable rear sights and a weaver-style rail mount factory installed along the length of the pistol. The gun was designed to make mounting a scope, laser or other sighting device easy to do.

  Loosen the retention rings at the base of your new sight and widen the brackets on the bottom of the sight base, this can be done by hand̵2;no special tools are needed.

  Position the sight as desired along the length of the pistol. You may want to place optical sights closer to the rear and laser sights closer to the front. The length of the mount rail gives you lots of options.

  Place the retention screws parallel with the slots cut across the mounting base so that they are in the slots and align the sides of the bracket over the sides of the rail mount. Tighten the retention screws so that the bracket closes securely along the sides of the mount.
