How do I Clean a Gun With KG Kote?

Things You'll Need

Cleaning rod
Bore cleaning brush
Cleaning rags
Small brush
Gun cleaning patches
KG-1 carbon remover
KG-2 bore polish
KG-3 degreaser/solvent
KG-4 gun oil

Instructions

  Disassemble your weapon and use the KG-1 carbon remover with your brush and rags to remove the carbon buildup from your weapon. Place some KG-1 on your bore cleaning brush and pass it through the barrel with your cleaning rod.

  Place a small amount of KG-2 bore polish on a clean patch and pass it through the barrel, continue to do--with new patches--until the patch comes out clean.

  Apply KG-3 degreaser/solvent to the weapon and clean off any remaining dirt or carbon. Wipe down with a clean rag.

  Apply a small amount of KG-4 gun oil onto the surfaces of the weapon and reassemble your gun.
