How to Mount Leupold Scope Bases on a 700 Remington

The Remington model 700 rifle comes standard with open sights. However, shooter̵7;s can greatly improve their accuracy by attaching the scope to the rifle. Remington model 700 rifles have screw holes already drilled into the receiver that are compatible with Leupold scope mounts, the screw holes are filled with plug screws to prevent moisture from forming and possible rusting. Leupold scope mounts are not limited to use with Leupold scopes and can accommodate scopes produced by other manufacturers.
