Gun & Knife Shows in Ohio

Gun shows are temporary traveling events that exhibit all elements of gun culture. Anyone can attend, although an adult must accompany visitors under the age of 18. Common fare includes guns for all uses, including hunting and recreational shooting. Tables are available for vendors to purchase for a fee, allowing them to show and sell their wares to visitors to the show.
  1. C&E and Showmasters Gun Show

    • C&E promotes a quality gun show in Columbus, Ohio, twice per year, providing an opportunity for visitors to purchase various types of arms, such as shotguns, rifles, muskets, carbines and knives. An affordable entry fee ($8) allows guests to peruse up to 900 different vendors at the show during the two weekends of its operation. C&E gives 1,100 free parking spots to patrons; however, any additional visitors will pay a $4 overflow fee. For those traveling to Columbus for the show, Comfort Suites provides nightly accommodations for $65.70 if you identify as a guest of the Columbus Gun Show.

    Meeker Sportsman Club

    • Located in Marion, Ohio, the Meeker Sportsman Club offers a gun show on the third Sunday of every month. Allowing participants to bring their own tables, the club can fit up to 40 vendors. Vendors concerned about space constraints can reserve a spot for $5; otherwise, the space is free on a first-come, first-served basis. According to Meeker Sportsman Club, anything outdoors-, sporting-, or hunting-related can be sold at the show. An adult must accompany any guests under the age of 16, and admission is free for all patrons. Meeker also provides a flea market to accompany the monthly show, allowing anyone to buy or sell wares at leisure.

    Heritage Gun Show

    • Presented five times annually in two Ohio locations (Mansfield and Cambridge), the Heritage Gun Shows feature a raffle ticket for every paid entry on Sunday shows; the raffle provides an opportunity to win a Marlin .22 rifle. Admission is free for those who join the National Rifle Association or renew their memberships; free admission is also offered to any guest under the age of 12. (The price of admission varies with each show, but Heritage attempts to keep prices reasonable.) All vendors must display their guns in a secured manner, either locked in a case or cable-tied to the table.
