How to Adjust the Windage on a Burris Scope Base

The two attributes of adjusting a Burris scope are elevation and windage. Elevation refers to the horizontal crosshair seen through the scope and windage is the vertical crosshair. The adjustment dial for elevation is on top of the scope body and the windage adjustment dial is on the right side of the scope. The dial increments will move the crosshairs ¼ inch (for a target of 100 yards) in the desired direction.

Instructions

    • 1

Unscrew the protective caps from the windage adjustment dial on the right side of the scope.

    • 2

Adjust the windage by turning the dial counter-clockwise to move the crosshair to the right and clockwise to move it to the left.

    • 3

Reattach the protective cap to the windage adjustment dial.
