Things You'll Need
Instructions
Unload the bullets from your .40 caliber Glock magazine. Store them somewhere safe. Glock offers four different pistols in .40 caliber: the Glock 22, the Glock 23, the Glock 27 and the Glock 35. Make certain that the Glock chambered in .357 Sig will accommodate the size magazine you have in .40 caliber. The only issue is the length of the magazine as the .40 caliber magazine and the .357 Sig magazine are interchangeable.
Load the .357 Sig bullets into the .40 caliber Glock magazine. The reason the magazines are interchangeable is because the bullet length of the two cartridges is almost identical. It is extremely rare to find a magazine capable of being used with bullets of different calibers.
Be certain that the Glock pistol you are going to fire is chambered in .357 Sig. Glock makes three models chambered for that bullet, the Glock 31, 32, and 33. Put the magazine into the pistol.
Put on hearing and eye protection. Load a round into the chamber. Pick a target, take aim and fire your weapon. The handgun should function flawlessly with the .40 caliber magazine. As mentioned earlier, make certain that the pistol is chambered for .357 Sig bullet. Firing a bullet from a weapon not chambered for that round can lead to injury or death. However, if you are simply using a .40 caliber magazine for your .357 bullets and pistol, you will have no problems.
