How to Put a Folding Stock on an SKS

The fixed stock on an SKS rifle can easily be replaced with a folding stock. The SKS rifle is the predecessor to the AK-47 assault rifle. They are generally low-cost and reliable. Replacement parts are now produced mainly by American manufacturers in compliance with ATF regulations. Be sure to check your local laws concerning the legality of having a folding stock on your SKS rifle. Always verify that your rifle is unloaded before beginning any work on it.
