Things You'll Need
Instructions
Position your safe in a secure corner to minimize access to the sides and rear of the safe, where the steel is generally thinner than the door.
Avoid areas where you store your power tools, paint cans, lumber or other combustible materials.
Put a heavy washer on each of the bolts to keep a small amount of space between the head of the bolt and the steel of the gun safe.
Screw the lag bolts into the wall studs behind the gun safe with the drill. You should put a lag bolt in each corner and two in the middle section of the back of the gun safe.
