Instructions
Press the butt plate cover to eject the rifle tool case.
Unlock the bayonet (if installed), release the head of the cleaning rod from the front sight and remove the cleaning rod from the rifle.
Rotate the receiver cover pin (located at the end of the receiver cover) to a vertical position and pull the pin fully out. If the pin is resistant to movement you may need to pry the pin away from the receiver.
Pull the receiver cover rearward and remove it.
Pull the driving spring assembly from the bolt carrier.
Release the magazine catch (just before the trigger guard) and open the magazine.
Pull the operating handle rearward and remove the bolt carrier assembly from the receiver.
Remove the bolt from the bolt carrier assembly.
Rotate the gas cylinder tube lock up fully upward, lift the hand-guard and remove the gas cylinder tube and piston.
Upend the gas cylinder tube. The piston will slide out.
Place the trigger on safe, press the button directly behind the trigger guard and a remove the trigger group. Your SKS rifle is now fully disassembled.
