How to Remove a Glock Trigger Pin

It is necessary to remove the trigger pin from your Glock when cleaning or installing replacement parts. Cleaning and maintaining your Glock is essential to preventing misfires. Removing the trigger pin can be difficult without the proper instructions and tools.

  • Glock disassembly tool

Instructions

      Use your Glock disassembly tool to apply pressure to the trigger pin located in the gun frame on the left side just above the trigger.

      Move the slide top lever back and forth at the same time. This will release the slide top lever spring from the groove in the trigger pin.

    • 3

      When the trigger pin loosens, remove it from the gun left to right.
