Things You'll Need
Instructions
Choose a framed magnetic board that is an appropriate size for your fridge magnet collection. The most common boards are plain white but you can cover them with thin colored felt if you prefer and magnets will still stick to them. Determine if the board can be hung on a wall as is; if not, use framing hooks and picture wire to build a hanger on the back.
Select a layout for the magnets -- for instance, if they are collected from your travels you might want to display them on a paper map stuck to the magnetic board or a map drawn directly on the board. Place the magnets near their origin on the map. Local business magnets can be organized by type, with food outlets grouped together, trades together, and doctors, dentists and other medical professions together, with a calendar magnet in the center of the board. Collectibles such as movie memorabilia can be organized by size, theme, color, shape or other attributes depending on what you have in your collection.
Place the magnets on the board in your chosen layout. Move them around until you are satisfied with the spacing and the overall visual effect. Hang the fridge magnet display in your chosen location.
