How to Display Collectible Pins

Pins make great collectibles because they are small and come in all varieties. Despite their size, they can add up and become quite a mess if not organized properly. If you have a large pin collection lying around, organize your pins in a display frame so you can show them off. A glass display shadowbox will also protect your pins from the elements and allow you to keep track of them.

Things You'll Need

Instructions

    • 1

Dust your pins off so they are display ready.

    • 2

Organize your pins in the order that you want to display them. If more than one go together, group them this way, or you can always arrange the pins by date.

    • 3

Remove the back from your display shadowbox.

    • 4

Measure the backing and cut a piece off felt the same size.

    • 5

Attach your pins to the felt in the order that you arranged them. Use a ruler to measure the distance between each pin. Allow at least 1/2 inch between each pin.

    • 6

Attach the felt to the backing of your shadowbox with a hot glue gun or double sided tape.

    • 7

Put the frame back together and hang your collectible pin display in an area where it will be seen.
