Things You'll Need
Instructions
Purchase a matchbook display case from an on-line hobby store or hobby store in your area. Such cases have small "shelves" that are designed to allow you to hang each matchbook individually, meaning you will not have to glue your matchbooks to the case wall. Other options for matchbook displays include matchbook display chests with curved glass fronts. This is a portable option for showing off matchbooks, as well as matchbook albums. Chests only hold a few matchbooks at a time, while albums mean your matchbooks will not be as visible. Cases, therefore, are the best option for displaying a large number of matchbooks at once.
Hang the matchbooks in the display case as desired. Categorize them according to the year you got them, or by theme, such as restaurant matchbooks, hotel matchbooks, club matchbooks and product matchbooks. You can also display them in rows according to color.
Hang your display case as desired in your home, or take your display case on the road for assorted hobby and collectors' conventions. If displaying matchbooks at home, also utilize other display options, such as combining matchbooks in clear glass bowls.
