How to Make a Pokemon Card Holder

Pokemon cards have become competitively collectible, and children trade them with each other to increase the value of their own decks, much like sports fans trade cards featuring their favorite players. The cards come in small boxes or pouches at department and toy stores, but a child's collection will quickly outgrow these small containers, requiring some sort of organized storage. You can make a Pokemon card holder at home and decorate it with your favorite Pokemon characters.

Instructions

  1. Book-Style Holder

    • 1

Open the rings of a 3-ring binder and slide several photo album refill pages onto them. Snap the rings back together.

    • 2

Press letter decals onto the front cover to spell out your name or spell out "Pokemon Cards."

    • 3

Press Pokemon stickers onto the front of the binder or use permanent markers to draw your favorite Pokemon characters.

    • 4

Slide your Pokemon cards into individual photo slots in the photo album refill pages. Keep them organized by separating them into groups according to the abilities or strengths of the characters and by the rarity of the cards.

    Box Holder

    • 5

Write your name or "Pokemon Cards" on the lid or front side of a baseball card box with squeezable craft paint or paint markers.

    • 6

Draw a few Pokemon characters on the front or lid of the box with the squeezable paint or paint markers to decorate the box. Press Pokemon stickers on the box as well to add to the Pokemon theme.

    • 7

Place your cards into the box. Separate them into sections with note cards or empty Pokemon deck boxes to keep them organized into groups by character ability, strength and rarity.
