How to Purchase Flags From Historic Places

Many collect flags from historic places, and many historic places sell flags commemorating certain historic events, or reproductions of historic flags. Historic sites such as the Alamo, Independence Hall, and Civil War battle sites, sell flags representing different aspects and events of both the historic place and events that occurred. Purchasing flags from historic places can be accomplished many ways, and the more you search, the more you will be rewarded.

  Visit the historic site itself. Most historic places have gift shops dedicated to selling all types of collectibles commemorating the historic site and events. Also, when traveling, inquire about historic sites at the local town hall to find previously unknown opportunities to by flags from historic places.

  Search for tag sales, swap meets and antique shows for collectible flags. Full-sized and miniature flags from historic places can be found at these events, and can be especially rewarding when a unique flag is found.

  Search the internet for flags from historic places. Auction sites as well as flag stores and manufacturers have a wide variety of flags from historic places available for purchase.
