Things You'll Need
Instructions
Wipe the collector's pins with a non-abrasive cloth to clean them free of any smears, smudges or fingerprints.
Open the display case door to gain access to the display mat. Some display cases have a backdrop covered in felt or another soft material while other display cases contain shelves.
Open the latch on the back of one of the collector's pins. Work with one collector's pin at a time. The latch is the mechanism containing the needle that is used to attach the collector's pin to the backdrop.
Insert the needle into the backdrop, threading it through the fabric so the collector's pin is secured.
Lock the latch on the back of the collector's pin.
Attach all the collector's pins in the pattern of your choice. Straight horizontal or vertical rows, a large circle and bordering the outer edge of the display case are nice ways to display pins. If the display case has shelves, align the collector's pins in an orderly fashion on each of the shelves.
