If you choose to play with your action figures or let others play with them, display them on a table, shelf or the floor. You might arrange them as if they were in the midst of whatever activity they represent -- a battle, a race or an alien invasion. Most companies that sell action figures also sell accompanying play sets. These might include ships, castles, mountainous terrains and other environments. Purchasing such a set will allow you to display your action figures in an attractive manner and allow quick, easy access for play.
Collectibles
Almost any action figure has the potential to become a collectible. Some will even increase in value. Leaving the figure sealed in its original packaging may make it worth more than an opened action figure. If you choose to open the figures you collect, you may display them on shelves or in cases sold for displaying such items. These cases may be purchased at toy, craft and hobby shops. They may also be specially made.
To display action figures that are still in the original packaging, check the type of package. If it can stand up on its own, you may set the action figures upright on a variety of shelving types. Packages that will not stand on their own may be hung from nails or other fasteners on the wall. Use double-backed tape and adhesive hooks if you don't want to damage the plastic or the wall.
