How to Store Wacky Packages Trading Cards

Wacky Packages trading cards were first produced by the Topps Company in 1967. The cards spoof products and packaging, with the product image on the front of the card and often a puzzle piece on the back. Some of the cards have collectible value due to age or rarity. Properly storing them not only provides protection for each card, but also makes it easier to view the front and back. The supplies are inexpensive and readily available at mass merchandisers, sports card shops and online stores. You can use the binder system for any trading card set.

Instructions

    • 1

Separate the standard base cards from the chase cards. Chase cards are special inserts that are more limited than base cards, and sometimes have colored borders or are made of foil card stock.

    • 2

Collate the chase and base cards in numerical order. The card number is located on the back of the card. Place the chase cards in front of the base cards.

    • 3

Insert each card into one pocket of a 9-pocket page. Continue until all of the cards are stored in the sheets.

    • 4

Open the 3-ring binder. Open the rings of the binder and insert the pages that are holding your cards. Carefully close the rings.
