Cleaning Seraphim Angels
Take the soft bristle brush and dust off the figurine. Makeup brushes and small paint brushes work well when dusting between crevices. A small can of compressed air may also be used to dust in place of a soft bristle brush.
Tape over any air holes in the figurine with clear, nonabrasive tape. This will prevent any water from seeping into the figurine and potentially causing water damage.
Lay two thick towels down in the bottom of the sink. The towels will prevent breakage should the figurine slip while being cleaned. Towels may also be used to cover the sides of the sink for added security.
Fill the sink halfway with warm water. Add 3 drops of nonabrasive, mild dishwashing soap or detergent to the warm water.
Submerge the figurine in the warm water. Do not keep the figurine submerged for more than a few seconds. Keeping the figurine underwater for too long may cause water damage. Take a soft cloth and gently rub the figurine.
Rinse the figurine off in warm water. Gently rub the figurine down with a soft, dry cloth. Air-drying the figurine is also an option. Remove the clear tape over any air holes on the figurine.
