Instructions

  1. Storing Your Signed Photos

    • 1

Determine if you want to display your signed photos. The steps you'll take to protect your photos will be different if you want to show them off, rather than simply store them.

    • 2

Put a piece of paper on either side of your photo to protect it from being scratched or damaged.

    • 3

Seal your photos in air-tight plastic. Doing this will protect your photo from moisture.

    • 4

Place your photo in a box or other container, carefully labeling it to ensure you can find it easily.

    • 5

Put the box or container in a safe place, making sure the storage area isn't prone to flooding or other issues.

    Displaying Your Signed Photos

    • 6

Purchase a mat and frame. Pick a mat and frame based on the size of your photo. In general, a 5 x 7 photo goes with an 8 x 10 mat and frame, an 8 x 10 photo goes with an 11 x 14 mat and frame and an 11 x 14 photo goes with a 16 x 20 mat and frame.

    • 7

Mount your photo to the backboard with a one-sided scotch or scrapbooking tape. Do not use masking tape.

    • 8

Align the mat onto the backboard, making sure it is positioned properly.

    • 9

Put the picture, backboard and mat into the frame.

    • 10

Hang the picture where it will be easily seen.
