How to Melt Down Silver Bars

With the trying economical times, many people have started investing in silver. Silver bars can be melted down into rounds that are worth more money than the actual bars. The silver bars melt at a temperature near 1800 degrees Fahrenheit and a furnace that can reach 1800 degrees Fahrenheit is needed for the melting process. A crucible is also needed to house the silver during the melting process. A crucible is usually made from graphite and will not melt while melting down your silver bars.
