How to Display an Autographed Book

A book autographed by its author can become one of your most prized possessions. Indeed, the mere act of an author signing a book increases its value, especially if the book is a major success or if the author is deceased. If you elect to keep it with you, you can display it prominently in your own home or apartment in a place of honor.

      Position the bookstand on a place where the book can be viewed by anyone in the room. Ideal places include fireplace mantles, bookcases, entertainment centers or cabinets. Be sure to center the bookstand to keep it safe from falling.

      Open the book you wish you display to the autographed page.

      Place the book in the center of the bookstand, making sure the book is away from edges, other objects and, especially, away from sources of fire.
