List of Hallmark Classic Cars

Each year since 1991, Hallmark Cards, Inc., a private company based in Kansas City, Mo., that is best known for its greeting cards and gifts, has chosen a classic car to be featured as one of its holiday season ornaments. For 2010, Hallmark chose the 1964 Pontiac GTO as the 20th edition to its Classic Cars ornament series. Here are Hallmark's past choices.
  1. 1991-1996

    • In 1991, Hallmark chose the Corvette to be featured as the first car in its Classic Cars ornament series. In 1992, it was the Mustang, in 1993 the Thunderbird and in 1994, the 1957 Chevrolet. In 1995, Hallmark for the first time chose two autos to be featured in its classic cars ornament series, the Chevrolet Camero and the Edsel Club. In 1996, the greeting card company chose the Cadillac.

    1997-2001

    • In 1997, 1998 and 1999, Hallmark again chose two cars to be featured in its Classic Cars ornament series. In 1997, it was the Oldsmobile and the Corvette's second showing in the series, and in 1998, the Plymouth Cuda and another version of the Corvette were chosen. In 1999, Hallmark chose the Chevy Nomad Wagon and the 1949 Cadillac Coupe DeVille to be featured in its Classic Cars ornament series. In 2000, Hallmark chose the Pontiac GTO to be featured, and in 2001, it was the Buick Roadmaster.

    2002-2010

    • Hallmark chose the Mach 1 Mustang to be its Classic Car holiday ornament in 2002, and in 2003, the company chose the 1963 Corvette. In 2004 it was the Toronado, and in 2005, Hallmark released an anniversary edition of the Ford T-Bird ornament as well as a Pontiac Firebird ornament. In 2006, Hallmark chose the 1961 Impala, and in 2007, the company chose the Ford Fairlane. In 2008, Hallmark chose three autos for its Classic Cars ornament series: the Pontiac Colorway, the 1963 Corvette Stingray and the 1970 Chevelle SS. Hallmark chose the 1963 Ford Thunderbird and the 2009 Ford Mustang GT for its 2009 ornaments. In 2010, the company chose the 1964 Pontiac GTO.
