Instructions
Press the "Power" button to turn the metal detector on and off. Wait at least three to five seconds after turning the machine off before attempting to turn the machine back on.
Press the "Sensitivity" button to adjust the sensitivity of the magnet within the machine. Only use high sensitivity levels when you are searching for objects that may be deep underground. Low levels are best on beaches, areas with high mineral soils or when other metal detectors are nearby. The "Depth" indicators on the right side of the machine indicate how far down into the ground the machine is searching.
Press the "Mode" button to switch modes. Use the "All Metal" mode when you are searching for only metallic objects, or when the makeup of the item you are searching for is unknown. Use the "Jewelry" mode when you are looking for rings, watches, bracelets or necklaces, as it will ignore all trash types of metal. Use the "Coins" mode when you are searching for coins. This mode will eliminate all items not made of the metals used in any type of coin. The machine will also indicate which type of coin it has found, whether it be a penny, nickel, dime, quarter or dollar coin. Use the "Relics" mode when you are searching for old artifacts that may contain metal.
