Things You'll Need
Instructions
Find the watchband brackets on either side of the watch. Inside these brackets, the watchband is held in place with spring bars. These tiny spring-loaded bars press into lugs on either side of the watchband bracket. TechnoMarine offers easy access to the spring bar through a slot on the back of the watchband.
Lay a soft cloth on a firm work surface. Lay the watch face down on the cloth.
Find the spring bar notch. Use a fingernail to press the tiny handle toward the center of the watchband bracket. This will loosen the spring bar and the watchband will pop out of the bracket. If your fingernail is too short, try a jeweler's screwdriver. Repeat with the other watchband bracket.
Remove any broken or unwanted watch case cover. Starting at the 3 o'clock position, peel the watch case cover away from the watch case.
Wipe the watch case with a soft cloth and warm water. Dry thoroughly.
Replace the watch case cover. Fit the watch case cover over the buttons at the 3 o'clock position. Stretch the watch case cover over the face of the watch and press it down over the 9 o'clock position. Be sure to fit the watchband brackets into their slots.
Place the end of the spring bar into the lug on one side of the watchband bracket. Slide the other end of the spring bar behind the lug on the other side of the bracket. Gently pull the watchband until the spring bar connects with the lug. Repeat with the other watchband brackets.
