Instructions

    • 1

Open your pocket knife and lock the blade. Once the blade is locked open, use a toothpick to clean out any lint, dirt and other undesirables from the blade channel, as well as any other openings on the pocket knife.

    • 2

Dip a Q-tip in a small amount of rubbing alcohol and use the Q-tip to clean the blade of the knife. This will clean off any grime and dirt that has built up on the blade itself.

    • 3

Apply a small amount of oil to any rust buildup on the blade and scrub away with steel wool. Once scrubbed down, wipe the blade dry with a rag.

    • 4

Lower your pocket knife into a pot of boiling water using tongs. Let the knife sit in the boiling water for between 45 seconds and one minute before removing and wiping dry with a rag.
