How to Price Precious Moments Collectibles

Precious Moments figurines are little handmade collectibles that have been around since the early 1970s. The figurines are popular because of the excellent craftsmanship as well as the message of love, sharing and caring that each figurine represents. Because the figurines have been around for so long, there are some that are no longer in production. However, you can still determine the price for any figurines.

  Visit the Precious Moments website (see References) if you are interested in getting the prices for collectibles that are still being sold and manufactured by Precious Moments.

  Browse through the different categories of collectibles that are available. For example, you can browse the angel figurines, sports figurines, flower figurines and figurines that are geared toward occupations.

  Click on the picture for the figurine you want pricing details about. Upon clicking on the figurine image, you can see the name of the figurine as well as the item number and current price.

  Locate the model number and name for your Precious Moments figurine. The model number and name will be located on the bottom of the figurine.

  Look up the model number and name of your figurine in a Precious Moment's collectors guide or price guide. For example, there is ̶0;The Official Precious Moment's Collector's Guide To Figurines,̶1; ̶0;Bakertowne's Price Guide To Precious Moments Figurines̶1; and ̶0;Warman's Field Guide To Precious Moment's Collectibles.̶1;

  Take your Precious Moments collectibles to an antique appraiser. The appraisal fee will vary by appraiser. The appraiser will be able to determine the value of the figurine based on the model number, name and overall condition of the figurine.

  Search for the model number and name of your Precious Moments figurine on auction websites such as eBay, World Collectors and Online Auction. Determine the value based on the price others are selling the figure for.
